Energy assistance

Community Action Partnership of Hennepin County (CAP-HC): Call 952-933-9639.

Financial counseling

Lutheran Social Services (LSS): LSS provides free budget counseling, debt management plans and financial education. Give them a call at 888-577-2227.

Food assistance

Fare for All: Fare for All is a low-cost monthly food package service. Call 763-450-3880.

Women, Infants and Children (WIC): WIC is a food and nutrition for pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants and children up to five years old. Call 612-348-6100.

Transportation

Metro Mobility: For individuals with disabilities who, because of a disability, are unable to ride the city bus. Families can also utilize Metro Mobility for ICA appointments. Call 651-484-8241.

Transit Link: Available in parts of the region not served by frequent regular transit routes. Anyone may use Transit Link, although there is an associated cost. Call 651-602-5465.

Metro Transit Transit Assistance Program (TAP): The TAP program offers qualified riders a Go-to Card that allows you to ride for $1 per trip for a full year. Call to enroll at: 952-938-0729.

Housing

HousingLink: An internet housing search tool with a subsidized housing list.

Home Line: A tenants' rights organization. Call 612-484-8241.

Emergency hotlines

Sojourner Project Inc.: Sojourner Project provides battered women and children safe, temporary crisis housing, and legal, medical and financial assistance. Their emergency hotline is open 24 hours a day. Call 952-933-7422.

COPE: Hennepin County can help people who are in the midst of a mental health crisis. Call 612-596-1223.
