VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
ICA volunteers are the key ingredient!
Because of the outpouring of care and compassion from community members like you, ICA is NOT able to take on additional volunteers, including substitutes, at this time. Please check back with us in a couple of months when we hope to have additional volunteer opportunities!
Although we are not currently able to accept applications for new volunteers, read the descriptions below to learn what's involved.
Regularly Scheduled Volunteers
Regularly scheduled volunteers help ICA deliver excellent service to our neighbors. All regular volunteers commit to a weekly shift of 3.5 hours.
Regular volunteers help in a number of capacities, with positions including shopping support, food logistics, mobile food shelf support, home delivery driver, food rescue driver, administrative front desk and bilingual interpreter.

Group Volunteer Opportunities
Businesses, book clubs, softball teams, scouting groups, families – many groups have made generous contributions of time to ICA – and had fun in the process.
Group volunteer opportunities include assembling snack bins and weekend bags for students in the area, as well as emergency bags.

Event/One-time Volunteer Opportunities
ICA is always in need of volunteers who are willing to represent us and further our mission at events and fundraisers. These events can include community fairs, bagging for tips at local grocers, supporting our annual gala, and more!
